Water Baptism

Baptism comes from the Greek word “Bapto“Don’t you know
that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through
Baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the father, we too may live
a new life. If we have been united with him in his death, we will certainly be united with Him in His resurrection”.
Romans 6:3-5 Submitting yourself to water baptism is your first public act of obedience and allegiance to the
person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He himself submitted to water baptism before he started his public ministry on the earth. ” which
means to dip or submerge in water. As the minister submerges you in water it has prophetic significance of “dying to
our old, sinful life” and coming out of the water signifies being resurrected in Christ. If you wish to submit to water
baptism, Please contact the pastor

Pastoral Counseling Are there areas in your life where you feel like it is a continual
struggle and you can’t find victory? This is where biblical counseling comes in. Our counseling consists of lovingly confronting people from the
Scriptures out of a deep concern for the person in order to help them make changes that God desires for them to live the abundant
life that He desires. Biblical
counseling at Maranatha Gospel Fellowship is done by our pastoral staff and lay leaders who are convinced that God
is able to make the changes that are necessary in a person’s life as His Word is ministered in the power of the Spirit
and applied by the person who has come to the church for counseling. The Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 2:6-7, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as
Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with
thankfulness.” These words penned by Paul, echo the vision and desire of the Discipleship Ministries at maranatha Gospel
Fellowship. We desire to see all believers grow to maturity and, in turn, to minister to others. The varying aspects of our ministry are designed to meet you wherever
you are at in your relationship with Christ.
