PASTOR WILSON KADAVIL B.Sc, B.A (Biblical Studies)  

Wilson Kadavil is born and raised in Kerala, India. After completing high school he went on to the University of Kerala and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. While pursuing his Master’s he married  Valsamma in September 1978 and the couple arrived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They established their home in Edmonton and later became Canadian citizens.

 

To ensure gainful employment, Wilson enrolled at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and completed his Class Three Certificate in Power Engineering. Since 1981 he has been employed as a power engineer at the Imperial Oil Strathcona Refinery. While working, Wilson upgraded to a Class Two Power Engineer in 1984. In order to develop himself professionally he enrolled in several short and part-time courses. To prepare for ministry he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at ICI University, Missouri, USA through Vangaurd Bible College, Edmonton.  Over the years, Wilson has been an active layman in his local church and was engaged in teaching Sunday School and Youth Group and served in Stephen Ministries.

 

Pastor Wilson is an ordained minister of the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada and New India Pentecostal Church in India. Since 1990, Pastor Wilson pastors Marantha Gospel Fellowship, an East Indian Pentecostal church. He also serves as Associate Pastor of Christ Family Fellowship in Edmonton, Canada. Pastor Wilson enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God. He conducts seminars on various topics for local churches and ministry agencies.

 

Pastor Wilson has a special vision for India. He takes Canadians on short-term missions to India and serves as Board Member of Insight Mission, Kannur, India and is the President of Pentecostal Children’s Education Fund – a Canadian charity dedicated to help needy children of third world countries.

 

The Kadavils are blessed with two children.


Maranatha Gospel Fellowship is a full gospel Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada Pentecostal Church in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
